More than GPS
GPS alone tells you where it is. Karvia tells you how it is and what to do.
Morpheus Key includes GPS location (map, geofences, history) and OBD engine reading in the same plug. You do not stop at coordinates: you see unit status, the next step, and close-out when a new reading confirms the fix — on WhatsApp or the web platform.
Three ways to start
Many fleets already run a GPS. Others start from zero. Karvia does not force you to rip out what works.
- Morpheus Key: one device = GPS + OBD (location and engine together)
- Keep your GPS: Karvia sits on top and/or adds Morpheus Key for the engine layer
- Same ops surface: web dashboard + WhatsApp; Detect → Verify with readings
What GPS-only still misses
A classic tracker answers “where is it?” and “did it leave the geofence?”. That covers theft and dispatch. It does not read pack voltage, temperature, load, or DTCs.
Without the OBD layer, a 21.8 V pack on a 24 V system can stay green on the map while the unit is one start from stranding.
- GPS (also in Morpheus Key): position, geofence, trips
- OBD (Morpheus Key / deep telematics): engine, battery, DTCs, fuel
- Karvia: copilots + evidence close-out, not just “alert sent”
Quotable threshold (24 V)
In Karvia a 24 V pack is critical below 22.0 V. Published case: bus in service at 21.8 V, still starting. The job is to bring the unit in before the next start. That comes from OBD; the GPS map alone does not see it.
How Karvia closes the notice
One open alert per vehicle and issue. Marking it seen does not close it. It closes when a later sample is no longer below the threshold, the code is gone, or the case is resolved with that reading. A person confirms actions that touch people, money, or assets.
FAQ
- Does Morpheus Key include GPS, or only OBD?
- Both. It plugs into the OBD-II port and reads engine, battery, fuel, and faults, plus GPS location, trip history, and geofences on the same Pro subscription. It is not “GPS or OBD” — one device, both layers.
- Does Karvia replace the GPS I already run?
- You do not have to throw it away. You can integrate the telematics you already use and/or add Morpheus Key for the engine layer. The copilots and Detect → Verify loop are the same on the web dashboard and WhatsApp. No native app.
- Does a GPS-only tracker read battery voltage?
- No. Pack voltage and fault codes are read over OBD-II. In Karvia that reading comes from Morpheus Key (or integrated deep telematics).
- At what voltage is a 24 V battery critical in Karvia?
- Below 22.0 V. A healthy pack with the engine running charges above 24 V.
